Easy Easter Blondies.
This Easter dessert recipe is a total crowd-pleaser, super kid-friendly and a must for anyone with a sweet tooth. Plus, how cute are those pretty pastel colors of the M&M on top?!
These chewy blondies are everything we all love about blonde brownies. Sweet, soft, and full of that rich vanilla-butter flavor but with a spring twist! I promise, once you try them, you’ll be adding them to your list of new recipes to revisit every year.
I actually made a batch of these last year for my family's Easter egg hunt party and they were the first thing to disappear off the snack table along with these Cinnamon Roll Bunnies. You know I always bring the snacks!
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup Easter M&Ms
How To Make Easter M&M Blondies Recipe.
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and glossy.
3. Add the eggs and vanilla, and whisk to combine.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Start with the whisk but once it thickens switch to a spatula to gently fold everything together.
6. Fold in the M&Ms. Make sure to save a handful to press on top so they look extra cute when baked.
7. Spread the blondie batter evenly into your lined baking tray.
8. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
9. Let them cool completely before cutting them into slices.
Storage:
Keep in an airtight container at room temp for up to 4 days (if they last that long!).
Tips:
If you don’t have pastel M&Ms on hand or just want to mix things up you can easily swap them for Cadbury Mini Eggs or white chocolate chips, or even a mix of both for extra richness.
Crushed Easter-themed chocolate bars, peanut butter chips, or pastel-colored sprinkles also work great for a fun twist. Basically, if it’s sweet and festive, it’s fair game.
So if you’re looking for a fun, easy dessert to bake with the kids or just want a batch of buttery blondies to brighten up your weekend, give this Easter blondies recipe a try.
It’s seriously one of my favorite spring bakes!
