They’re cute, festive, and incredibly simple to make. Instead of elaborate baking projects, this one uses store-bought cinnamon roll dough (though you can go homemade if you’re ambitious).
Whether you’re making them for Christmas morning, a classroom party, or just a cozy December brunch, these reindeer rolls are quick, easy, and a total crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
Chocolate-covered pretzels (for the antlers)
Candy eyes (available at most grocery or craft stores)
Chocolate candies or M&Ms (red for Rudolph, assorted colors for the rest)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven according to the package instructions (usually 375°F (190°C)) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Open the cinnamon roll package and set the icing aside.
3. Separate the rolls and place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each roll.
Mine needed to be rolled out first, sprinkled with the cinnamon sugar, rolled back up and cut into even slices to form the rolls.
4. Bake according to the package instructions.
5. Once cooled slightly, spread on the icing.
Mine came with powdered sugar that you needed to add some water to mix.
6. Use a little of the icing to stick on the pretzel antlers, candy eyes and nose.
