Cute Nutter Butter Turkeys.

If you’re looking for a fun Thanksgiving activity that doubles as dessert, these Nutter Butter Turkeys are just the thing.

They’re no-bake Thanksgiving snacks made with peanut butter sandwich cookies, colorful candy melts, and a few sweet extras.

Perfect for a kids Thanksgiving treat, a fall party food centerpiece, or just a rainy-day edible craft, these little gobblers are as tasty as they are adorable.

Ingredients

  • 30 Nutter Butter cookies

  • 30 Nutter Butter Bites (mini cookies)

  • 1 cup yellow candy melts

  • 1 cup orange candy melts

  • 1 cup red candy melts

  • 60 candy eyes

  • 30 yellow M&Ms or Reese’s Pieces

Instructions

1. Melt the yellow orange, and red candy melts separately according to the package directions.

2. Transfer each melted candy into a piping bag (or a resealable plastic bag) and snip off a very small tip.

Tip: If you’re making these with kids, melt and bag the candy melts in advance for an easier, less-messy activity.

3. Pipe a small dollop of any melted candy melt onto one end of a full-size Nutter Butter cookie.

4. Press a Nutter Butter Bite onto the dollop to create the turkey’s head. Allow to set briefly.

5. Pipe colorful “feathers” above the turkey’s head, alternating yellow, orange, and red.

6. With the red candy melt, pipe a small curved line just below the beak to form the wattle.

7. Using yellow candy melt as “glue,” attach two candy eyes and one yellow M&M (or Reese’s Pieces) to the small cookie for the beak area.

8. Allow the candy to harden completely before serving or packaging.

Store in an airtight container for 2-3 days at room temperature.
