Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pizza dough (13.8 oz)

  • 8 cheese sticks

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 egg (whisked)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan

  • Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

3. Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 32 pieces (8 rows of 4).

4. Cut each cheese stick into 4 pieces, then place one piece on each dough square.

5. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the cheese and dough.

6. Wrap each piece of dough around a cheese piece, pressing the seams together to seal.

7. Arrange the dough balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in a Christmas tree shape.

8. Brush the top with the whisked egg.

9. Bake for 16-18 minutes, until golden brown.

10. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.

11. Transfer your bread to a serving platter, and serve warm with a small bowl of marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

Storage: Let the cheesy bread cool completely before storing in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
