Halloween Oreo Bites.
These are made for Halloween parties especially if you’re short on time but still want to bring something that looks like you went all out.
Once they’re all set and hardened, pile them onto a cute Halloween tray, pack them into party bags, or sneak a few for yourself.
I’ve served these as trick-or-treat night snack trays, kids’ classroom parties, office Halloween potlucks, and even cozy spooky movie nights at home.
Ingredients
12 Oreo cookies
¼ cup Purple candy melts
¼ cup Green candy melts
¼ cup Orange candy melts
Halloween sprinkles (candy eyes, bats, pumpkins, ghosts, etc.)
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
2. Place Halloween sprinkles into small bowls for easy decorating.
3. Place each color of candy melts in its own microwave-safe bowl.
4. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and fully melted.
5. Using a fork, fully coat each Oreo in melted candy.
6. Let excess drip off, then place on the baking sheet.
7. Dip 4 Oreos in each color for a fun variety.
8. While the coating is still wet, sprinkle generously with Halloween sprinkles or candy eyes.
9. Let the Oreos sit at room temperature until the candy coating hardens (about 30–60 minutes).
10. For quicker setting, chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
11. Arrange on a spooky serving plate or store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
If you're looking to add even more spooky sweets to your Halloween lineup, try whipping up some Halloween chocolate bark or go out on the Oreo fun with Oreo spider cupcakes!
