Jalapeño Popper Pigs in a Blanket are the ultimate party appetizer. Flaky crescent rolls wrapped around creamy, cheesy jalapeños and smoky sausage. Perfect for parties, potlucks, and game day snacking.

Jalapeño Pigs In Blankets.

I love jalapeño poppers. If they’re on a menu, they’re getting ordered. If it’s game day, they’re getting made. And if I’m bringing a dish to a party? There’s a very strong chance jalapeños are involved.

So it was only a matter of time before this recipe happened.

Because let’s be honest, when it comes to party food, jalapeño poppers and pigs in a blanket are basically tied for first place. Put them together and you get an appetizer that is hard to resist.

These jalapeño popper pigs in a blanket deliver the perfect mix of flavors and textures in every bite. Creamy, cheesy filling, a little heat from the jalapeños, smoky sausage, and soft, buttery crescent dough.

They’re ideal finger food and easy to prep ahead, too. You can mix the cream cheese filling and prep the jalapeños a day or two in advance, then simply assemble and bake when you’re ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 4 jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeds removed

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 8 little smokies sausages

  • 1 package crescent roll dough

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

  • Garlic powder and dried parsley, for topping (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic powder and green onions until smooth.

3. Spread the mixture evenly into each jalapeño half.

4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the filling.

5. Press one little smoky into each jalapeño half.

6. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Wrap one triangle around each stuffed jalapeño.

7. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and parsley, if using.

8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crescent dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

9. Let cool slightly before serving.

These are fantastic on their own, but even better with a dip. Ranch dressing, honey mustard, or spicy mayo are all great choices.

If you’re building out a full appetizer spread, these pair perfectly with other easy finger foods like Mini Pretzel Dogs and Easy Cheeseburger Sliders for a crowd-pleasing lineup everyone will love.
