Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough

  • 2 cups marinara sauce, divided

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 32 pepperoni slices

  • 2 tsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. On a large cutting board, roll out the pizza dough until it’s 1/4-1/3 inch thick.

4. Spread 3/4-1 cup marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border along one long edge of the dough.

5. Sprinkle on the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

6. Add the mozzarella and parmesan evenly over the sauce.

7. Top with pepperoni slices.

8. Carefully roll the dough up tightly, holding down the pepperoni as you go.

9. Cut the roll in half, then cut each half in half again to make 4 sections.

10. Slice each section into 3 rolls, for a total of 12 pinwheels.

11. Place the pinwheels on a large baking sheet.

12. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

13. Let cool slightly and sprinkle with parsley.

14. Serve with the remaining marinara sauce.
