Ingredients
60 pretzel snaps
60 chocolate Hugs
60 edible colourful candy eyes
You'll also need a 9x13-inch baking sheet and parchment paper. Baking tweezers are optional but can make positioning the candy eyes a little easier.
How to Make Eyeball Pretzel Bites.
1. Start by preheating your oven to 200°F (95°C) and lining a 9x13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Arrange the pretzel snaps on the baking sheet in a single layer.
3. Unwrap the chocolate Hugs and place one in the centre of each pretzel.
4. Bake for about 10 minutes, just until the chocolate has softened.
You don't want the chocolate to completely melt, so keep an eye on them while they're in the oven.
5. Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and press one colourful candy eye into the centre of each softened chocolate Hug.
The chocolate will spread slightly around the candy eye, creating a fun eyelid effect.
6. Leave the pretzel bites to cool and harden for around 2 hours, then they're ready to serve!
Tip: Store your Halloween pretzel bites in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 4 days.
