Ham And Cheese Hawaiian Roll Sliders.
If you're anything like me, you're always on the hunt for easy party food that tastes like a million bucks but takes hardly any time to make.
If you're hosting a game night, celebrating a birthday, or just pulling together an easy weeknight dinner (because we all have those days), let me introduce you to one of my absolute favorite go-to recipes: Ham and Cheese Sliders on sweet Hawaiian rolls.
These babies are soft, buttery, melty, and packed with flavor. And the best part? They come together in about 30 minutes! We’re talking warm, cheesy, slightly crispy sandwiches that vanish the moment they hit the table.
The Best Ham And Cheese Sliders.
Here’s why I keep coming back to this cheese sliders recipe:
That combination of salty ham and melted Swiss cheese? HEAVEN.
The sweet, pillowy King’s Hawaiian rolls are everything - I stock up every time I go to the grocery store.
The melted butter mixture with Dijon mustard, minced onion, and poppy seeds brushed over the top of the rolls makes them taste like they came from a fancy bakery.
They’re perfect for serving a crowd, and you can prep them ahead of time!
Ingredients
12 slider buns (I use King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls)
½ lb thinly sliced deli ham
12 slices Swiss cheese
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp minced onion
1 tbsp poppy seeds
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Slice your slider rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom layer of rolls in a greased baking dish or line with parchment paper.
3. Spread a thin layer of mayo over the bottom half of the rolls.
4. Then layer on 6 slices of cheese, 5-6 slices of ham and then another 6 slices of cheese. Top with the top half of the rolls.
5. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, minced onion and poppy seeds.
6. Grab a pastry brush and slather that butter mixture all over the top of the buns.
Make sure they’re nice and coated as this is what gives that delicious golden brown finish.
7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, uncover and bake another 5-10 minutes until the tops of the sliders are golden and a little crispy.
8. Let them cool for a few minutes (if you can wait!), then slice into individual rolls and serve warm.
Want to make these ahead? Assemble the whole thing and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Pop it in the oven when you're ready!
Whether it's a holiday, game night, or just a busy weeknight, these Hawaiian ham sliders are your new favorite go-to! Quick to make, easy to love!
